Charlie：

I am very pleased to greet you on this 15th anniversary of Excelland. If you haven’t been to Excelland, you need to go, and soon. Why? You need to go because Excelland develops excellent leaders and you need to embody leadership excellence. First, you are the “leader of your life.” And, with leadership excellence, you can make life better for everyone you interact with, your family, your colleagues and more. And, you have excellent mentors and guides, Fenny and Michael. How do I know? I have had the privilege of working with Michael and Fenny for a decade. If you have been to Excellence, you need to return, frequently. As Aristotle noted, “We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence then, is not an act, but a habit.” Habits requirerepetition and visiting Excelland builds good habits.

My first glimpse into Excelland came a decade ago when Dr. Mao of China Aerospace brought me back to Beijing. We went to meet with my publisher and Michael was (unexpectedly) there. He showed me photos of Excelland providing 4-D Workshops in China! I was delighted.

I then traveled to China twice a year, every year staying for a month each time, to support Excelland 4-D workshops. We made Excelland a “movable feast,” adapting to client’s needs across China. Excelland is making peoples’ lives better and improving business results. Moreover, Michael and Fenny “play” as hard as they work. I love being with them, and you will too.

While I miss my visits to Excelland, I deeply miss you, my Chinese workshop participants. You are appreciative and curious like no others. I, of course, am no longer coming because of COVID. I miss you all. With great respect and love for all of you,

我很高兴在智学明德成立15周年之际表达我衷心的祝贺！如果你还没有参加过智学明德国际领导力中心的课程，赶快参加吧。为什么呢？ 因为智学明德培养优秀的领导者，而你需要体现自己卓越的领导力。首先，你是“你人生的领导者”。凭借卓越的领导力，你可以让与你交往的每个人，你的家人、你的同事以及更多人创造更美好的生活。而徐中博士和佛影女士就是你需要的两位优秀的导师和向导。我是怎么知道的呢？我有幸与徐中博士和佛影老师一起工作了十多年。如果之前你参加过智学明德的课程，欢迎你经常回来。正如亚里士多德所说，“ 我们不断重复的行为造就了我们。因此，卓越不是一种行为，而是一种习惯”。习惯需要重复，欢迎来智学明德国际领导力中心中培养良好的领导行为习惯。

我第一次认识他们是在十多年前（2011年），当时，中国航天科技集团的毛博士邀请我到北京。当我首次和《4-D卓越团队》这本书的出版商见面时，认识了徐中博士，他给我看了他在中国举办4-D工作坊的照片，我感到非常高兴。从那以后，我每年去中国两次，每次一个月的时间，期间会支持智学明德举办4-D工作坊。我们定期在中国举办4-D卓越团队的学习盛宴，不断地适应中国各地客户的需求。智学明德正在使得人们的生活更加美好并帮助企业提升绩效。

徐中博士和佛影老师热爱生活热爱工作，我非常喜欢和他们在一起，你也会喜欢的。

我想念与智学明德的合作，也深深地想念你们，我的中国4-D工作坊的学员们。你们的欣赏感激之情和强烈的好奇心是独一无二的。当然，由于新冠疫情，我们没有再来中国了。我们非常想念你们！怀着对你们所有人的敬意与爱。
